Another Bandaid

Just add another bandaid to the collection

Add another cut to the list of sins.

Try thinking of a reason for all this pain,

Try to convince me not to give up…

Try to show me a reason and a bright light,

Because, to be honest, I can’t see the end as bright

But confusing and lost and away.

 

Try to convince me I have another chance…

Try to understand my desperation…

Try to help me believe in myself,

Because, to be honest I don’t believe anymore,

I can’t see a reason or another start.

But better yet, please give up…

It’s just another bandaid to cover the scar.
