No good deed goes unpunished

No good deed goes unpunished

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Shadows draw nears as the sun drops from the sky,

Wicked thoughts enter this lonely mind of mine

On their way to this higher consciousness i assume,

What will I do if I can’t save you?

Hands above your bare chest,

Words escaping quickly like rehearsed songs

In a different tongue than my own, in a new voice,

Don’t let the shadows draw any nearer, stay with me now…

. . . I . . . Love . . . You. . .

All the magick in the world can help me now…

No good deed goes unpunished.
