No good deed goes unpunishedA Poem by Laura Sparkle
Shadows draw nears as the sun drops from the sky, Wicked thoughts enter this lonely mind of mine On their way to this higher consciousness i assume, What will I do if I can’t save you? Hands above your bare chest, Words escaping quickly like rehearsed songs In a different tongue than my own, in a new voice, Don’t let the shadows draw any nearer, stay with me now… . . . I . . . Love . . . You. . . All the magick in the world can help me now… No good deed goes unpunished. © 2008 Laura Sparkle |
