Dean

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Please No CSS

No need for words, I wish you could see him,

His vibrant self lighting the room.

For someone who hides from the light around

He looks pretty stunning if you look past the gore.

Large silver eyes that look through his locks,

Obsidian hair framing his snow self,

I wish you could see him walk right in,

No knocking, just simplicity.

Two delicate hands grip through my flesh,

Holding me close to look in his eyes,

“Listen to me, this isn’t a joke…

You silly girl, stop fooling around!”

I wish you could hear his melodious voice,

His humming lullabys me straight to sleep,

His firm eyes watch silently over my dreams

Ready to jump in and rescue me.

I wish you could touch him, the same way I do,

His cold lips pressed against my cheek,

No thank you, no excuse,

Just elegant simplicity.

I wish you could smell him,

His rosy cologne and his innocent look,

A sad taste for blood, and a witty response,

He’s the vampire all others fear.

I wish you could meet him, the way that I have,

Hear all his jokes and sarcastic comments about life,

Watch him discover each of her dreams,

Watch him fall in love all over again.

I wish you would know him, as well as I do,

Know his every layer as deep as he allows,

Hold his cold heart and feel it beat within you

With the passion of a couple suns.

I wish you would understand him,

When he’s cussing and running around angry…

His concern so visible, palpable,

Don’t worry, I will be ok.

I wish you could see him, an eighteen year old boy standing in front,

Fearing the power of the merciless sun,

I wish you could know the truth behind

Why he and I are bound.

Now this one was a masterpiece! Woven with care and visual tapestries!
Brothers can be so similar yet so different. I suppose it's those differences that makes them unique and special to their other sibs.

Another powerfully great Write!

Very creatively written, and very witty. Yep, the big brothers' always protecting the younger ones hehe. They're guardians of the night so that no one is hurt hehe :) Great job!
