Posso arrestarmi in qualunque momento

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Posso arrestarmi in qualunque momento

Wrinkled like old papers thrown in the trash
Coughing up his lungs like the enemy,
The look in his eyes empty as ash,
Looking away he is a shame to me.
Everyone’s asleep. Many lost their hope
But went on ahead. Found his salvation;
Drunk with exhaustion; tired of his mope
Constantly consumed by his temptation.

Help! Help! Save me!- Another cry of pain,
Retrieving the right help for him in time;
But his addiction made desperation a game,
Turning and twisting like barbed wire in grime…
Dimmed through the cobwebbed windows hidden from night,
As in a dark hell I saw him entwining.
In all my innocence and helpless might
He threw himself at me, helplessly, begging.

If you could imagine the horror we saw
The time his last breath came out,
And watch how his screams unhinged his jaw,
His skin just as pale as vampire’s body;
If you could hear, at every twist, his blood
Scream from his depths for his untamed addictions,
Begging to be given his vice or a mouthful of mud
To swallow away his acidic obsessions,
My friend, you would not tell children the glory
That they should never pursue,
The old Lie; Posso arrestarmi
In qualsiasi momento desidero a.
(I can stop anytime I want to)

Now this is extremely intense... I can picture someone watching some one die for the first time and messing with their emotions... that was very captivating in it's darkness.

very good work. this conveys the feel of Wilfred's poem really well and almost turns it into a Poe version. how much of this was your own input?
