A Poem by Laura Sparkle
"

bored

"

I’m tired of spending sleepless nights

Lying on my bed staring at the lonely ceiling,

Looking out the darkened window,

Feeling the empty space next to me

And wondering where you are tonight.

If I have another person tell me it’s hard I’m gonna unleash

All the morbid curiosity I have on the human body.

I’m not terrified of the arms you lie in tonight,

I trust you and I know where you’ll return:

To me.

But I am finally tragedy free,

Pain free

Fear free

Ready to be all I can be

And ready to please. :)

Ahhh well boredom seems to lead to great writing, I think you independence screams "I am who I am like it or not" and that is self empowerment... Rock on Vampiress.

It's sort of sad, speaking of one's acceptance that what they have is gone from them.

Even in the darkest moment of ones life, there is always a little hope in us. The little voice that that say don't be afraid, everything is going to be fine. That is what this piece spoke to me about. I could be very wrong but nicely done.
Keep them flowing from you heart
