Mine

Mine

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Where you are is the right place for me,

I belong with you, I belong to you.

And I will tell you I am yours

Thousands of times and a thousand more.

I love you more than anything I can hold,

You’re palpable, lovable.

I adore you.

And sometimes I wonder what happened with us,

How we distanced off in the crowd,

Me in the south part of “Sunny Cali”

And you in the lost parts of Colorado.

Yet we’re still closer than ever,

Two hearts beating together

Sharing the same contagious fever.

We’re one soul split into two,

My first priority is checking with you,

So I can check myself,

Not asking permission,

But you’re like an addiction

I’m not giving up.

Where you are is the right place for me,

I belong with you, I belong to you, I will follow you

To the end of the world and back,

Walking on broken glass.

You’re mine, my only half.

Yep, You're in the flow of it now! I think you even got the Love boat with the jet turbine engine on board! :)
This was a remarkable piece! An outpouring of honest emotion that just sums it all up!

One note :
"We're one soul split into one," Did you mean to end this line with "two"
I'm thinking you were in the zone of (sigh....) when you wrote this.

Really nice!

Aaron
