Modern mummyA Poem by Laura Sparkle
Bandaged anywhere from the neck down, Wrists and fingers and legs. Walking around like Egyptians Yeah, I know best, so now what? Putting it all on display, Maybe something new will arise, But who will show up when you look like that, Like a 21st century mummy. Your insides were “torn out” By another “human being”, So now you walk around ashamed to say, You loved the one who made you this way. © 2008 Laura SparkleReviews
