Believe

Believe

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

I know the pain you’re in, and I wish I didn’t.

It pulled my heart to shreds, and tore it into pieces…

Your dreams so suddenly hidden behind rows and rows of guilty lies,

And I know your pain so well.

I wanted to pull you against me, and hold you tight,

Evaporate all the miserable slices that tear you apart.

I wanted to kiss you, and let my lips melt away

All the stinging needles that cut you each day.

I wanted to tell you that you own my heart,

So the agony that overwhelms should go away.

I’m here,

I am yours,

No need for guilt,

No need for lies…

All will be well, just believe in my words.

Nothing wrong with writing on to infinity! Just means you'll out write every mortal soul!
With your talent and grace of real life words, I don't think anyone would have a problem with it! :)

Wonderful Write!
