Message from your mind

Message from your mind

A Poem by Laura Sparkle
"

So my mind hates me again... still battling the writer's block.

"

“I see you’re pouting again, dare I ask why?

What made you have to need to cry?

Handcuffed to yourself again,

When will you dare to learn this lesson?

I see you’re in conflict again, maybe of interest,

Too attached to either one of your subjects…

This shall be easy, a clear contrast between them,

However both terribly similar.

I see you’re cutting yourself, dare I ask why?

What forced you to make this try?

I thought we fought this to extinction,

A true belief of suffering,

You stupid martyr! I can’t believe you!

Do you ever think of anyone but yourself?

Of course you do, that’s your biggest problem!

How dare you try to control me?

Silly girl… I thought you knew better.”

I loved this! It's so much better when the mind talks back! Rather then just sitting inside taking up space! lol
The image of two people fighting, and their minds are like ghosts you can see above them, and they are playing cards and drinking beer!

What a ingenious creation!

Well Laura what can I say... you showed how the mind can sometimes be our enemy when we over thin things and doubt every move we make... I think we all experience this from time to time so we all can relate... I enjoyed the vulnerability in this piece.

Just like your heart poem, I like this too, a lot.
The way you give your mind a personality, it's really awesome.
