Tears

Tears

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

Rain falls,

And the heavens cry again.

Feeling so hopeless, what can I do to help?

All I can do is watch…

Watch and cry with it.

Trees bend over twice, the pain so obvious,

And all I can do is listen,

Watch and cry with them.

And the piano under my fingers tell a story

Of a broken heart and a stolen soul…

Looking out into the distance, painful memories,

Looking back at me though the window: a ghost, me.

Same ghost form august, the hell month…

The same ghost…. Me.

And watching the tears drop, suicidal fools,

Both mine and the skies’ fall on the floor…

Is heaven crying for you as I am,

Or is it crying for me for crying for you.

The mirror effect of self introspection. Wondering if one is feeling for others or feeling for themselves.

Beautifully crafted, the emotions came smoothly out and gave a fog like swirl in the mind of the heart.

Nice piece!

A very powerful piece... dealing with grief can be difficult when you feel alone and it sometimes is surreal and you feel as if your watching a hollowed out version of yourself just going through the motions... a very sad but deep write.
