Mascara RiversA Poem by Laura SparkleAs black rivers of tears flow down a porcelain face, And as red lips mutter the same prayer of pain… The moon ignores all cries and hopes, Leaving them all to crash on a boulevard of broken dreams, And blood, and blood, and blood. As red rivers flow down porcelain wrists, And as a hot heart cools down without second thoughts… The sun hides away behind lead clouds… Leaving all innocents die in despair, And cry, and cry, and cry.
