White QueenA Poem by Laura SparkleI’ve never felt so empty in my life, So vacant and so terribly alone. And sitting by my side the moon and sun, I’ve never been so miserable and happy. Sitting on the table and on my secret square Watching the game evolve at it same pace, My muses all deaf and blind and mute, The white bishops finding their eternal way. I love you both with hate and mercy Everything you own belongs to me, And like a black bishop capturing a white queen forever. And rushing my way to the square you’re on, And slowing down, don’t want to scare you yet Sorry to inform you, but this end is checkmate.
