Miss you

Miss you

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

As everything great it had to end eventually…

Leaving for SI as scheduled, that’s fine.

I will miss you dearly… but your passion comes first….

The thought of what you are makes me smile!

Cheer up, you’ll get to see your buddies,

It won’t be long, you’ll see how fun they can be,

Remember I’ll be here next time you’re back,

Show my gratitude for who and what you are.

You barely left yet it’s been forever…

A couple hours can feel like an eternity.

I’ve been asleep for more than half of them,

I can still feel the absence in my mind.

I miss you dearly, even though I shouldn’t.

Don’t want to let myself be played…

You came for such a short time…

And left so fast… I miss you now.

Duty and love sometimes are so closely tied, that it makes the heart whirl around like a top. Strength to you my friend, and prayers for both!

Awe Laura, I'm sure he knows how loved he is.

A great poem of what you feel for that some one, and it is admirable too that you understand his "passion"

Nice poem Laura =)

Love,
Me
