Listen

A Poem by Laura Sparkle
"

heh...reminescing

"

Cant believe how right he was

The warnings to get away so obviously threatening

How could he know?

Why did he know?

Maybe…

I should have listened to his warnings sooner,

Escape from her grip and insane life…

Pull my sister away from the grip of madness…

Save us both… I should have listened.

How could I miscalculate something so obvious?

Landing straight on my @$$ when she seemed to need me…

And I let her down, saw her cry…

Should have listened to him now its too late.

I agrre with Aaron, but its always easier to look back in hind sight, but it is important that we do to understand lessons that need to be learned.

Nice write Laura=)

Hind sight is always spot on. We act... time moves on... we learn... then we kick ourselves for we realize better choices could have been made. The way of life i would think. All we can do is chalk it up to a learning lesson and keep our feet moving forward. but our memories close so we see things intime before we repeat history.
