Good-Riddance

Good-Riddance

A Poem by Laura Sparkle

For you who left me when I needed you most,

Did life take you in a better direction?

Do you find yourself laughing more,

And not thinking back to the sound of my voice?

For you who cast me aside like the trash that you have,

Do you feel better now with me out of your life?

Is your existence all that you'd hoped

Without me in your life...?

Well, I hope all's well...

I hope your dreams come true..

But when it hits the fan don't even dare

Come back to me.

Nice flow of thoughts and I like the ending. Old wise saying. One time a mistake. Two times a error. Three times we are foolish. Good to leave bad folks behind. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
