Popped randomly into my head while I was drinking my morning tea, and just HAD to get it off my shoulders.

A splash of color, midafternoon

Dashes of rainbow with shadows shining through

Brushes swish across paper

Typewriters click

The echo of singing in the halls of the church

Thoughts of a daydreamer

Dancing through the sky

Shining like there's no tomorrow

And no beginning

Childish thoughts popping like bubbles

You don't need to be talented to be creative

You just need to imagine

You just need to believe

You just need to be you.

Play with your dreams

Chase your thoughts through the clouds

Meet your goals.

Nothing like using creativity to express creativity :) You fit a lot of deep thought into a short little poem and made everything flow together nicely. It has atmosphere as much as meaning, that's one of my favorite elements of any poetry. Well done.

It was my favorite... English breakfast tea, my mother introduced me to it when I was younger. Great for getting my creative jucies up and running.
