The Unseen Figure...A Story by SpagbellaScowling at the arriving boys, the house heaved up and down, its new owner secretly hidden inside. The sun, cacooned in the clawing branches, had long gone down and the only light was coming from the abandoned window at the front of the house. Cautiously, Tom approached the house aware that Dave was silently trudging along behind him. "So..." muttered Tom, trying to prompt a conversation, "You from around here?" A stiff silence remained in the air. "Dave?" Tom turned around. Waves of violence had overtaken Dave's eyesight and a sense of danger lay engraved in his angry frowns. "No...No...NO!" Dave protested in a monotone voice, "She is coming..." Roughly shaking him, Tom yelled at Dave"Stop it, stop it, stop, whats wrong with you!" "What? asked Dave, a confused look on his face, "C'mon lets go inside" As Tom turned the door handle, an echoing groan filled the hallway. Turning around quickly, Tom sent Dave a quizzical look. Despite only leaving the house a couple of hours ago, the house had an empty, lifeless sort of feeling to it and there were decaying items strewn over the floor. A torturous shiver plummeted down Tom's spine. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw an unseen figure travelling upstairs. "Dave, lets go." Tom said firmly. But Dave was not there...
