A Place of Hiding Light

A Place of Hiding Light

A Poem by Travis Wilson

I am in a place of light and great darkness.

A place where every corner is covered in shadow,

every wall every place is a place of hiding light and glory.

Darkness holds where the army of light presides to till the last day.

The light and glory to cleanse the world where the darkness fights the blind man. The glass to take hold and define. The rod iron to take hand and lead. The blind sheep to follow and listen.

I live in a place of light and constant sorrow of heart, mind, and soul. To take bread and wine. A future sight, a road taken.

I live as a testament to a greater cause of power and willful choice to a better place. Soldiers walk the path of the dead to seek the light and live. I live in a place of hiding light, a place of great darkness and shadow.

A place of our day and our time,

a place of our beliefs and our ideals. I live in a place of great suffering, and great light,

a place of Zion.
