Junk

Junk

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

Couldn't I have been poofed out on Venus,
or Saturn,
or even the sun

Somewhere I didn't have a chance,
didn't have a life to waste or not to waste

Do you think I'd live long enough on Venus to light one up?
Or would I be compacted like a junkyard car?

What a waste of a cigarette
