Teeming gray creek swellings

Worn pilling cuffs on a cotton-sleeved sweatshirt

Bubbling condensation bubbles on the outside of your overpriced franchise iced coffee

With enough out-of-place adjectives,
anything can be perceived as 'poetic'

But,
hell,
the way that you up and died on me...

that was anything but
