COMFY COZY

COMFY COZY

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

I'M AT A TIME IN MY LIFE WHERE MY NAILS ARE PAINTED YELLOW AND MY BOOKS ARE BENT (WELL-USED) AND THE WORST PART OF BEING HAPPY IS THAT I FEEL MORALLY BAD FOR FINALLY BEING EVEN REMOTELY CONTENT AND I LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE THE WORD "FREE" IS A SYNONYM FOR GUILT AND I'M SO UNCOMFORTABLE WITH BEING COMFORTABLE
