Blue

Blue

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

To feel that burn in my legs,
and to feel my forehead dampen,
to feel my arches sting,
and to feel my arms tire,
I am becoming addicted.
Exercise is becoming oxygen,
and without oxygen,
I am blue.
