Bones

Bones

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

For you,
the phrases,
"intellectual intelligence",
and "sex appeal",
could be interchanged freely,
and it drives me sane,
how whenever I hear,
your compassionate vocabulary,
I feel the need,
the jump your bones,
and ask to hear it again.
