Watered-Down

Watered-Down

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

I am dry sand,

watered-down green tea,
a broken comb,
a chapped lip,
a raised goosebump.

I am nothing,
but it seems I have everything,
from sensitive skin,
to suicidal tendencies.

Sadly relatable. Powerful and beautiful.
