Inhale Garbage

Inhale Garbage

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

Humans are strange,
because we crave,
to be different and strange,
but then become embarrassed,
when anyone notices,
and we inhale,
bits of other people,
and become them,
and then pretend,
like it’s not suicide,
and we appreciate nature,
after we push aside,
all of the garbage,
and road kill.
