Handfuls Of Insurance

Handfuls Of Insurance

A Poem by Emmy J.M. Powell

It’s hard for me,
to believe that,
fat looks good on me,
because I have,
handfuls and handfuls,
of it as insurance,
and I always feel it,
without having,
to touch it or,
grab it.
