Peanut Butter & Jelly

My parents were good,
my childhood was good,
my grades were good.

 
Everything was good,
and plainly average,

but when I was small,
I brought smooshed,
pb&j sandwiches to school,
and that doesn’t seem,
very straight-A to me.
