Rainbows in Black

Light turns to dark, dark turns to light

You say "good morning" in the middle of the night

Alone in a crowd, I stop and stare

All my heart longs for is what isn't there

Actions are broken, words fill the space

Waiting on time, will this pain it erase?

All the dreams that were spoken, all the plans that were made

My heart wants to chase but my mind is afraid

I hope the silence breaks

And the faint ache fades

Because the rainbows turned black,

I don't see the shades.

I love the attempts of yours at rhyming. It's a crazy awesome poem to read and I really enjoyed reading it. I'd want to say, "I love your first stanza how beautifully you expressed with the first line, "Light turns to dark, dark turns to light"" what a wonderful line, it has many way of understanding the concept of your this line but what I do understand Is what you've already defined through this beautiful poem. I loved your working way, your stuffs touched my heart. I'll now really love to take a look at your some more rhyming stuffs.

It is interesting how even something so beautiful and bright as a rainbow can become something lacking in everything beautiful when the persona itself has lost faith in all things bright and beautiful. The final stanza is simply beautiful, and 'Because the rainbows turned black' sent a shiver up my spine. Thank you for this poem.
