Simpleton

Simpleton

A Poem by space_rulers
"

A poem about a simple man

"
I am a simple man you see
and no one thinks like me

I have tired eyes
and worn feet
and no doctor can put my back at ease

My wife is lovely
and my children naughty
but we lack that audacity
The audacity in you and me

I admire simplicity,
as its man's own complexity
but i am here as its entity

because I'm just a simple man you see
i'm just like you and me

I am just simple man you see
I wish you could be like me
