Can you capture a memory? Or a moment? Should that be your focus? What if trying to capture something is in essence allowing that moment to slip away, from the most advanced moment capturing device known to man?

 What if someone appeared on television saying I have built this device that is going to revolutionize the way we capture our moments it will take the highest quality pictures and video that can possibly be taken not only that the best audio recording, it doesn't stop there, it will capture a touch also a taste and even the smell of that moment, and most importantly it will capture a feeling oh yeah each device comes with unlimited memory storage capacity. Now how much would you pay for this device? How about absolutely free? There is a few things I forgot to mention everyone gets one meaning you only get one there are no 2nd or 3rd generations you get this one and thats it even if it breaks or if it comes broken you can't replace it but there are modifications and instruments that are sold that can help in various ways to overcome problems you may face. Are you still interested? Do you want this device? Well look under your seat! I am just kidding, kind of. Look around listen, smell the air if it smells bad open a window! Pick up something touch it? What are you feeling? Now this might be overwhelming at first but you will get better at this I promise just protect this gift and use it.

When we truly capture the moment, it is like a time machine, taking you back in time, sounds and smells so vivid, recall amazes us. We can capture most of lifes moments with technology these days, but I still prefer old school memory. No price can beat the personal tiuch.

I understand your point, it's why I would rather enjoy a moment than photograph it. But then people get all upset when you come back from a holiday overseas with next to no photos to show them.... It's still stupid though because anyone can just google a picture of Buckingham Palace and get a much clearer image than what i'll ever manage to take, even if i invest in a selfie stick.

Thank you for reading this. I find technology very useful as a tool to use in the same way I also use a hammer or a telescope. But there is something about this mutitool we all seem to have within reach at all times. I observe moments which sadden me just last night I watched a couple slow dancing and about two minutes into the song the young lady pulled her phone out looked at did something on the screen a put it back. I sat and wondered about the few moments I've shared with a person like that if they were lost because I couldn't put down my hammer. I hope I would evaluate my relationship to that tool.
