Get off!” I screamed. “Get off of him!” my voice was harsh, cracking with pain. I couldn’t watch and stand by. I have to do something. I ran towards the werewolf, jumping onto his back. My teeth found its way to the wolf's shoulder, biting into the firm skin. He immediately drew back, yelping in pain, swatting and clawing at his back to get rid of me like a bug.

Adrenaline pulsed through my body as I hopped off his back, slipping past the howling wolf. I panted, running towards the angel laying on the ground. I practically skidded to a stop, falling to my knees, my hands finding their way to his face.

My eyes grew glassy as I looked at his scratched, bloody face, adolescent bruises revealing themselves. “God,” I choked. “You didn’t have to do that. I could have handled it myself.” His eyes fluttered open from their painful closer, the dilated pupils gazing at me. His lips swirled into a smile. I sniffled, removing one of my hands from his face to wipe mine for a moment.

“I love you, Dorian.”

It's pretty short, but I'm hooked!
Actually, it's REALLY short. Maybe describe the scene and some parts that happened before it? Describe the setting, add more context (but not enough that the reader knows what's really happening) and keep it up!
