soul-journey

as my ship sails into the unknown
along with this solitude i travel alone
thus i'd come and thus i'll be gone
this truth my soul has always known

the sea stretches far beyond my view
with faith in my heart i still continue
renouncing the safety of your secure shore
enamored i am of the ocean's lure

the island of hope seems so far
neither the door of luck ajar
still my eyes are set on the horizon
and my ship sails away into the unknown...........
