The walls we build

The walls we build

A Poem by soulwords204

I cant paint the walls I build or or apply shelves of flowers or add in clean clear windows, I can form a house of the ones I do build ,but they wont have doors to open so i cant taste bitter sweet reality some do say the houses can be a formality, but that doesnt apply to the rules of unearthly gravity, so we can just sit in these houses we build but we sure as heck wont be proud of the work that we did cause we'll still feel empty and the walls will block the people that help us,no, their not allowed in cause my mind is too adrift to let them fit in, and even though I should let them see a piece of me I dont even believe, the right people will gather my thoughts, align my life and fill the room of unending warmth, I realize now what I can do and that is break down those walls learn their willing to talk and thats when i learn i dont need that bucket of cements and those very heavy blocks.
