My Pheonix

A short poem

I saw her stand
Rising from the ashes
She stood alone
In the midst of the fray

 

I watched amazed
As she looked around her
Then she spread her wings
And flew away

Baby your my pheonix
Aint nothin gonna hold u down
I know it's hard but,
Baby you're a pheonix
So get up again, get up again
You're life's no ones but you're own

 

I cought your gaze
Saw the fire in you're eyes
You looked right back
Saw the ice inside of me

 

You reached out and touched me
And filled my heart with wonder
You melted the ice
And set me free

Our life is no ones. It our own.
