Darkened Angel

Darkened Angel

A Poem by AmandaLynn

My darkened angel,
You pull me away,
Your evil ways have caught me,
Your words have stained.

Your wings, they blind me,
And you cut me inside,
My darkened angel,
Give me back my life.

You suffocate me now,
I can't say a thing,
My darkened angel,
See the evil that you bring.

I am trying to be,
All that you need to see,
But my darkened angel,
You stole that chance from me.

Your wings, they blind,
You've trapped me in lies,
My darkened angel,
Give me a chance at life.

i like this. it's interesting that you kept repeating "my dark angel" throughout it. it added a nice touch to it. but i felt it lacked some pizazz or, i think the emotion itself didn't come through with your choice of words. this is the type of poem where after you read it, its already forgotten and out of your mind.

i think also in your third stanza, "see the evil that you bring?" should have a question mark.

overall its an okay piece.
good job.
