The Playground

The see saw effect..springy one person rides,,the slide..the merry go round..

THE PLAYGROUND:   Why see saw, spring and wobble, play in the sand box, swing up and down or merry go round, when you can just run and slide?


 If i persist will you pull away? If I pull away will you persist? It's so crazy makes you want to get on one of those springy rides by yourself and wobble.  Why can't I just run down the slide into your arms to stay? Do u really need a merry go round with many different playmates? Are you still sifting thru the sand.


(I added this picture a day after I wrote the poem, it seems so fitting to what I feel men probably think will happen if they let you run and slide; it looks like a cheese grater at the bottom)
