Eden doesn't understand what is going on. At 17 her body is going through a change that can't possibly be real, a change that goes well beyond puberty. She can't trust her foster mom or even her BFF Sena. Come to find out they have been lying to her, her entire life and she wants answers. Why is she so angry? What is wrong with her vision and her hearing? Even her skin has changed. Is she losing her mind? She is on the verge of shutting down and shutting out the family that she has always known when he comes. Bringing with him comprehension and confusion. Bringing with him an unbreakable link that is shared between them and the answers that she craves. He drops a bombshell on her, an ancient birthright that she wants no part of. Powers and abilities that continue to burst from her at inopportune times, powers that others have been training for years within Durah to master. Powers and abilities that come with a duty to protect human mortals and capture wayward souls. Once thought to be, not invincible, but nearly impossible to destroy Soulcatchers are being killed and so are the blockers. A war is coming and Eden must train and master her powers. She must help to save everyone that she cares about, everyone that she has come to love. The Dwellers are taking over and the Soulcatchers are drowning. Cyprus is bringing hell on earth and he must be stopped. They told her she was a Soulcatcher, that it was her duty her birthright, she told them to go to hell. Funny how a simple train ride home has turned her entire existence inside out.
This looks to be a very promising story but be careful as I could see this taking quite a lot of planning for it to make sense considering how many different characters and sub- plots that are involved
