death and the crowfather part 2: war vs death

our two heroes have now found the throne room to the crowfather who have separated the two towards the end of his life can they find each other now?

"Voices......always voices......torment without end." The crowfather had his head bowed and was muttering to himself. "Keeper of secrets, I need your help.." Death informed the old man as he pushed me behind himself when the crowfather lifted his head to stare at Death. "I helped you before, Horseman, look at me now! How I cursed that day....," He gave Death a glared that could kill people, "How I cursed you..." I sifted uneasily as Death warned him saying "Careful Crowfather I am not here to end your misery," He put a hand on the bunt end on one of his scythes. "Not yet.." The crowfather stood up and said, "I know why you're here. Your brother, the one they call War. He has been imprisoned by the Charred Council, and awaits their judgement. For dooming the Earth for mankind's extinction." He then added angrily, "Why should I care about your brother's fate??" Death, taking me with him, said "Because you know the truth your secrets can save him." I look at Death as the Crowfather laughed and said in glee hidden in anger "The Charred council will condemn War......stripped him of power, let him rot in oblivion.... to hide the truth! My secrets cannot prove his innocence, Horseman." I covered my mouth trying my best not to let my anger out to protest against the old fool but Death shook his head to me and said "No but they can help me to erase the crime."

I stared at him thinking, That is madness Death, the crowfather said almost agreeing with my thoughts. "Bring mankind back from extinction? Madness!" Death walked up the stairs stopping a few feet away chuckling a bit questioned, "If it's madness? Then who better to show me the way." A portal began to appeared as the crowfather said, "Should a way exists, you will find it here.." The portal showed a strange realm with the Tree of Life. Death whispered in awe the name and started forward but the crowfather clenched his hand and the portal disappeared. "Let me pass." Death ordered the crowfather, "Not yet.... that which you gave me... you will take it back." He had lifted up a green lighted amulet and I glanced at Death and saw him narrowed his eyes and said "In exchanged for all of the secrets, you agree to keep the amulet." I heard several whispers saying Free us every once in a while but the crowfather said "No.. the voices, they cursed and torment without end. they cry to return! YOU MUST DESTROYED IT!" I flinched at the tone of the yell but when I glanced at Death, he said in a regretful tone, "I..cannot." I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his as the crowfather said, "You annihilated their flesh.. why do you guard their souls?" I backed away from a feeling that a fight is gonna happen and Death drawn his weapons saying "Open the portal." The crowfather shook his head saying in a warning tone "You will not passed while I live." Death looked at me and I realized that it was a one-on-one fight to the death. I nodded and went to the far side of the battle ground. Death turned to the crowfather and said in a firm but grave tone, "So be it."

Death started forward but the crowfather thrown a black sphere of his powers to him and Death was thrown to the side fifty feet away from me. "Here your brethren are trapped in endless torment, do you wish to join then? And what of your brother would you kill him to protect your precious balance?" Death glared at him saying "He is innocent!" The crowfather grinned and said, "Are you so certain?" He then disappeared in a bunch of crows, I looked around and said to Death "Be careful Death.." He nodded and that's when we both heard someone coming into the throne room. I looked behind myself and saw War standing there looking at Death. War ranned forward and I yelled, "War DON'T!!!" Death protected me from a strike from War and Death yelled "Soul he is not the real war, he is the crowfather in War's form." I look at the War in front of me and saw that he was right. "Kill this old fool Death." He nodded and then the fight began.
