Death and the Crowfather part 1

Death and Soul now arrive at the castle but got lost along the way, can soul ever tell death how she feel or will she lose him again? Can Death tell her the truth as well?

  I look at him and then looked away. " Damn it Death why do you want the crowfather anyway?" He looked at me and said, "Why else? He only knows the truth of War being framed." I stared at him then sighed and said "You care about War, huh?" He didn't answer for we had our path crossed by the Crowfather's frozen warriors. death got off of the saddle and looked at me, I stared back and said with a grin "Wanna do a bet Reaper?" He finally laughed and said "Let's do it..." I jumped down and started running towards them pulling my sword out and I let out a happy yell as i slice the first opponent's head off. I heard Death laughed and he attacked two at once, I turn to the last one and said to Death "Tag team!"  I attacked first and then Death attacked him to disarm his sword hand, that's when I finished that guy off I had felt that what Death and I just done now it felt right. 

"That was awesome..Soul you okay?" I nodded to his question, "Didn't that felt strange?" He nodded and stared at me, "Soul close your eyes." I nodded and did as he told me to do, that's when I felt something soft pressed against my forehead. "Now how does that feel?" I took a shuddering breath, "It felt so good and soft....." I bowed my head and began to shake from fear towards these strangely familiar feelings. Death hugged me and said "It's okay i am having the same troubles as you do, Soul." I just nodded and hugged him back I then sighed for the twentieth time. "Let's go to that crowfather Death." He nodded and let me go but I came up with a plan. "Race ya!" I turn away, running from him towards the door to the inside hallway and I was nearly towards the middle when I slide to a stop the middle floor was gone so I looked to my left then my right but I saw that i have to go forward. 

"Great guess it is karma..." I took a few paces back then took a running start, jumping at the tip of the edge I was only able to grabbed the ledge of the other side and I hanged there. "I see you need help.." I looked up to the source to see, "Death how did you get there before me?" He laughed and said like it a was everyday thing "Reaper form.." I laughed and said "Of course.." He helped me up and we both took off towards a door leading to a old ball room but that was when the Ice giant appeared. I yelped in pain when it attacked me. "Soul!" Death pushed me out of the way when the Ice giant attacked me again, I tried to move but I couldn't for the pain in my stomach "Damn that is going leave a bruise." I passed out from the pain and fatigue, what felt like days later i woke up to find myself on Death's back. I sifted a bit and he looked at me, "you okay Soul?" I nodded and the yawned, "How long was I asleep?" He looked away and said shamefully "Five hours and we are lost.." I smacked him on the head for the lost part, "Why didn't you use Dust?" He laughed and responded "He is with the crowfather...." I groaned and cursed in the silent air. "Damn it Death!!"

He look back at me and grin saying, "You know Soul, I can tell you the truth of who my mate was..." I blushed and said to him shyly, "Golly Reaper I never knew you had a love life." He laughed and then stopped walking slowly setting me down on the ground in a sitting position, he then covered my eyes and I felt something soft pressed against my lips. I closed my eyes and placed my hands on his chest kissing him back as he hugged me closed, pulling apart I looked down as I breathe heavily and I glanced up at him. "I was your mate huh?" He nodded but then corrected me, "Still my mate Soul, my love..." I hugged him and said into his chest. "Let's go to the Crowfather." Death agreed, I then got up and walking hand in hand with my mate, we made it to the throne room of the crow father I decided to stay quiet and let Death do the talking as we came near the throne.
