The Ice Castle

Death is now out and Soul is faced with the feeling of love not answered for the past three weeks, will she be able to tell Death when he wakes up or will Death still be the a*****e he was before?

I walked around hoping for a bear or tiger something that takes a long time to cook. Instead I had went face to face with a boar, "Heh, haven't seen one like you in a long time." It looked at me all confuse but a arrow appeared between its eyes and it collapsed  dead. "YES!" I ranned up to it then did a double-take for it was nearly as tall as me but wider than my arm span. "Hehehehe" I grabbed it by its tusks and began to dragged it to the camp I made when Death had passed out.

I glanced at him when I came towards the edge of camp, "Still not moving at all...." I left the boar there and went to his side and remove his mask to feel his forehead. I sighed and looked around I began a fire and clean the boar, gutting it and then set it over the fire. "That boar will take a long time to cook....." I look at Death and then looked away. Please don't leave me here alone....... I went to sleep for the night.......

    I looked around my surroundings to see nothing but blood all around the place. but that was when I notice that I was in the living in my brother's house, after our parents death. At the thought of Sai, he appeared in the room and looked at me. "Soul why are you here?" I looked confuse at the question but there was a small sound of a child crying. Turning sharply to look what's behind me, my eyes widen at the sight. There I was standing there covered in my parents blood and their bodies in a heap behind me. I screamed..........

 

    "NO!!!" I sat up straight as I tore myself from the dream- no not a dream a hidden memory that I regain after, or so I believe, Sai was murdered. Grabbing a fistful of dirt, I let out a frustrated scream, throwing this make me well. But after what happen, after what I saw, I now made it my personal mission to know my past hidden from me. " I give you three weeks Reaper." I glared at his seeping form, "Three weeks to recover or I will go on my own."

            Week Later

        I am running through the house following the smaller version of myself as she try to find her parents - my true parents - "Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?!?!" the small child ran around the hall to see Sai's parents staring at us. The small child whimpered "Where's my mommy and daddy?" The man whom I thought to be my father laughed and said "Your parents are gone now you don't need them anymore." the small child began to cry a bit but then the tears turn to a growl as the demon side appeared and attack my parents........

I sat up again this time crying, but it wasn't ordinary tears it was bloody tears. I scrubbed my face with my hands as I sighed.

Two weeks later

I kicked the tree as i finished my workout. I grin happy with myself for doing something while Death is healing. As I drank some water from my water bag I see Dust cawing at Death. "Hey Dust, leave Death alone he's sleeping." Dust cawed at me and flew off. "Weird bird...." I mutter as I searched for my cleaning rag, I glanced at Death as a idea suddenly came up in my mind. Grinning like crazy, I want to his side with his unused water bag. "Sorry Death but i have to do this." I unscrewed the cap, then dumped the whole entire thing on him. Of course, it didnt work, "Awwwwww man....."

Three weeks later

I walked back to the camp after doing a scout to see if any enemies watching us. "Sadly-- DEATH?!?!?!" I saw him sitting up and staring at the moon. Dropping my weapons, I rushed to his side and hugged him "you okay???" He pushed me back and I saw that he had his mask back on. "Am I okay? What about you?" I grin at his usual pissed off tone and said, "Don't worry you were only out for three weeks beside the boar is ready." I turn away to hide a tear that had slipped down my face, Why cant i say those four stupid words? I love him.... "Hey Soul did you have any strange images for the past three weeks?" Death asked me in a casual tone but it still sent a chill down my spin. "Why did you ask, Reaper?" He shrugged and looked around pretending to not notice the word 'Reaper' "Yes I did, it was about a village and i was a part of it" He nodded and mutter then went and poked at the boar and then ripped a piece out and eat it. "This is good" I smile my thanks and did the same thing, not meeting his eyes and looking at the ground. "Soul..... that was a name from my once mate....." I looked at Death and then looked away, "Death don't lie to me."

"Okay...." we finished eating the boar and then set out to the, "ICE CASTLE!?!!?!?!?!?!!?" I stare at shocked at him as he laughed, "Yes the Ice Castle." I groaned saying, "Why me......." He laughed again causing me to throw a rock at him. "hey you wanted to come with me anyways..." i groaned and nodded to that comment and said "point goes to reaper..."
