My 50 Cent Car

My 50 Cent Car

A Poem by Sydni Austen

My fifty cent car got me to my destination.
My fifty cent car handed me a lyric or two.
My fifty cent car did not leave me to die.
My fifty cent car did not leave me to rot.
My fifty cent car loved me more than my ferrari ever had.

Author's Note

Sydni Austen
A fifty cent car is representing a sad and broken figure in my life and the Ferrari represents a richer and meaner figure (not capitalized since he means less to me in the poem).
