His father was born an angel, one of His most loyal subjects. 

His father was cast out of the Kingdom of Clouds for He did not like what he'd given to man. To give man the ability to think outside of worship -- to allow them to know things beyond them and Him, this was the most heinous of things to commit. 

Why would He want to give them anything?

Now the overlord of hell, his father stewed in, not hate, but something else. While He told them what would happen to them if they were to be as sinful as his father, his father punished only those who deserved it. Go against the word of Him? If you've taken another life, yes you will be punished. If you've decided not to worship Him? Who cares, move along. 

He was Satan, the King of hell.

His mother was born a mortal, one of His most loyal worshippers. She was a damned soul sentenced to eternal punishment for losing her faith. Why should she worship someone who did not want her to have access to knowledge beyond herself? She, instead, chose to worship his father. His father, after receiving her soul, decided to marry her. Together, they had seven children.

She was Lilith, the Queen of hell.

He followed in his father's footsteps and gave man something his father nor He liked. The ability to be reincarnated-- to escape their punishment. He was cast out of hell for that. He was neither righteous nor was he sinful. Was he destined to be the overlord of man where He and his father had failed? For He was too righteous and his father too proud. That was exactly what he wanted to find out.

He was Lucifero, the exiled prince of hell.
