The King of Hearts: A Hymn for the Heartless: ACT II "The loss"
My mind is racing, it's pacing at the thought. I try to forget, but forget I cannot. It's like a systematic chaos; A structured insanity. It's like a hidden gem, Layered under my flesh among other rotten things. It's on a million mile race for the door. It's a thought I cannot forget, And a face I cannot remember. Why is this so hard? Why am I so easy to control? It wasn't supposed to be this way. It should have been the other way around. But this is the way it was, and will stay fractured. This is the way it was frayed, and will stay broken. A million pieces scattered across the floor. A million pieces that could never fit together. A never ending struggle for unity. A slave to it's own morals. Well I think it's morals are shhh! Why can't I just forget it. Why won't you let me forget it. It's over. It's been over. It's gone. But it will never end. And we will never be the same.. My heartless cadaver is left empty to rot on it's thrown. I am the King of Hearts- I am - Alone- © 2011 Sorry Sits HereAuthor's Note
