It follows me.
Everywhere I go I see this darkness. I see its face. I feel its gloom. Lurking - it grows and grows as the day The day grows old and old. I can't escape this obscurity, this predator, this aphotic beast. It plays tricks on my mind, what lies - within this demon. Why does it resemble me in so many ways? We are not alike, yet we are one; conjoined by fate. Doomed to forever play this infernal game of cat and mouse. A mirror into my own darkness. This somber creature foreshadows my own demise...
