Cause and Effect.A Poem by Sorry Sits Here
Where do we go - we don't know where we've been.
We fight and we struggle - afflictions within. We wine and we whimper - it's simple; we blame. Pointing our fingers - we linger in vain. Lying and cheating - the backstabbers game. With morals and karma - we're drivin insane. Our actions and motives - determine our fate. But we kill and we steal - raising prisons with rage. When we're lost we lose all - missing visions of change. Insanity, calamities - Both awkward and strange. We're imprisoned - division - separate but same. Duality? Reality? - Fortune and fame. We like it, it's Nike - It's all in the name. Fabricated fashion - Selling pennies to slaves. But it's all in "his" plan - So thank God we plan well. We just ask for forgiveness - and we won't rot in - sssshhh...... Now I open my eyes - We've seen quite a show. Stay peaceful, don't struggle - Just let the past go. Share wine, share hope - it's simple; with trust. Hold hands, come together - and linger in love. Spread truth, help out - it's anyone's game. With morals and Dharma - release all this pain. Take action, move mountains - we can make our own way. Bring life, plant a seed - give more than you take. If your lost, reach out - because we're all holding hands. Intelligence, integrity - moving onward as planned. We have risen -ambition - we have faith were we stand. The truth, it speaks softly - "now you know who I am." We like it, enlightened - growing better with age. But it's work and it's hard - But the hard work will pay. Our negative deeds form negative waves - Until it rots and it blisters and festers for days. Where positive acts will shine light on this haze. Remember... It's cause and effect, Karma's kiss of decay. © 2011 Sorry Sits Here
