If I Could Have a Brief Moment
A Poem by Sorry Sits Here
The game we call life!
A subtle sense of release -(this is urgent) And we fare-well to this mock-heroic travesty. Desperate eyes leave desperate ties - On a forbidden paradise. Where beauty lies - Lives, Not a single-one understands the consequence. Not a single-one feels the pull. A burden unlike the rest leaves a residual residue Of broken stares and blank promises. This hiatus reaches it's end and we too must come to fruition. This was only a game, This has always been the game. |

"Not a single-one understands the consequence.
Not a single-one feels the pull."
This poem makes you stop and wonder. It makes you wonder of it's premise, even when you're almost positive you know what it's about. Then you are taken aback by a new thought about it, and you realize you were wrong.
You have such a strong voice. Great poem.
