Snail Vs. Salt
A Poem by Sorry Sits Here
We need to learn to take a step back and appreciate the beauty that is right in front of us. Most of us are either to busy or too ignorant to realize that true happiness has always been right here.
So I bid farewell on this infernal roller coaster We call life. Where no rules apply, except those in which we govern ourselves and hold so dearly to our souls. Sit back and breathe the beauty before it withers away Before it's ripped from our lungs For nothing more than the mere lack of appreciation We surround ourselves in. Smell all the pretty colours for they are plentiful for those blessed enough to take a look And feel the vibrations and gentle clicks of insanity for this may be our only chance to survive. And always remember Live life to the fullest. |

This is very nice(: I like how simple your idea is, but seems very mature and complex at the same time because of your word choice. I feel this way too. I always try to go with the flow and see the brightness in life instead of letting everyone bring me down. I really enjoyed reading your poem(:
