How odd is odd

How odd is odd

A Poem by Soren

Sanity the norm, crazy if you don't conform
Insanity by vote outsiders just a sour note
snow flakes in a storm six sides is the norm
differences remote, makes you a scapegoat

Differences you see do they set you free
told that you're ill, for variance there's no pill
in regard to variability it's just a matter of degree
Those unlike us leave a chill but are human still

I grew up around a lot of people that society labeled as mentally ill, some were good, some were terrible. But when I grew up, left my family and looked around me, I realized that they weren't that odd from everyone else. This poem reminded me my feelings then.
Starting line is magnificent, and the whole last stanza...
This is one of the best for me! Really liked this poem
