Night visitor

Night visitor

A Poem by Soren

Ghost moth what message do you bring
carried from night on haunted white wing?
Notice from a spirit lost, searching for a place to rest
Past love long departed forgotten but still possessed
A sheet of paper falling out of night shade trees
circling, dropping, lolling on gypsy breeze
Born on breath of darkness, carried by mystery's wind
Night's shadow a black grave for past days sinned
Cracked casket of day emits a flash of white
A phantom flies as a spectre in darkest midnight

Mysterious, love it. It seems like a soul is asking for help, or I don't get it well.

Thank you so much for the read and comment that would be the most common way to see it.
You are so deft at writing poems that have a mysterious aura to them.
And I love that genre.

Thank you so much Jacob I've been accused by those close to me of being mysterious and hard to read,.. read more
