ReflectionsA Poem by SorenReeds piercing water, day begins Reflections on a pond, here then gone Ripples of a breeze break water's skins Melting liquid images drawn Birthed in blazing color Pastel shades dim then go So bright the sun's duller Brush strokes on pool's canvas glow Bugs as scratches on a mirror A bulls eye where by a fish taken Shattering what was once clear Awaken from a dream mistaken Though Sobek's skin is peeled away In each new surface beauty does lay
